Fixed Louver Details
Model S445 fixed louvers are optimized for intake and exhaust applications in commercial and industrial buildings. Fabricated of extra-strong 18 GA galvannealed steel, these louvers are durable enough to withstand the toughest industrial environments. Each louver has a mill finish with touch-up cold galvanizing to prevent rust and corrosion. Ensuring they last as long as you need them.
The non-drainable J-type blades are fixed at the 45° position. This provides ample free air movement while still preventing the majority or rain and debris from entering.
Louvers are available as small as 12″ x 12″, to as large as 96″ x 96″. This ensures that there is a louver to meet your needs at any size.
Accessories
All of these louvers are custom made at the Romla Fans factory. As a result, specialty construction options are available for the Model S445 wall louvers.
In situations where there is no structural steel to mount the louver to, a 1 1/2″ flange frame can be added. This is ideal for mounting the louver to concrete or masonry. Optional sill extensions are also available to provide built-in flashing.
Prime coat finish is standard, but liquid polyurethane, baked enamel, and additional custom finishes are also available.
Furthermore, if the building needs more protection to keep foreign elements out, burglar bars and bird screens, and insect screens can be added. Finally, filter racks are available for finer air filtering.
Filter Racks
One particular accessory is the S445 filter racks. These factory-installed steel rails filter the incoming air. This prevents smaller debris, birds, and other material from entering the building, while still allowing the air to flow freely. Each filter rack is welded onto the interior side of the S445 louver. Units include a removable flange on each rail row to easily remove and replace the filters.
Like the louvers themselves, the filter racks are also mill finished 18-gauge galvannealed steel. A vareity of filters are available including;
